Recently, the Baotou section of the Railway Equipment Company has fully implemented the Company’s flood prevention and control work deployment, effectively building a strong safety barrier for flood prevention during the peak summer period.

The Section has guided employees to fully recognize the severity and complexity of the “Late July and Early August” critical flood prevention period, further strengthening employees’ responsibility and sense of urgency. The 24-hour duty system has been strictly enforced, with intensified on-site inspections of the vehicles staying at the site based on the actual flood prevention situation in the resident sites. The “Pre-rain, During-rain, Post-rain” three-level inspection mechanism has been rigorously applied to solidify the safety mindset without taking a chance with the flood. In addition, flood rescue and emergency equipment—including rescue tools, emergency lighting, communication devices, and rainproof protective gear—are fully stocked and equipped. The establishment of a reporting system of material utilization ensures rapid response in case of emergency, timely replacement and deployment, facilitating swift disaster response, efficient disposal, and effective risk prevention & control.
