Recently, the fully independently manufactured LH2-type high-friction coefficient composite brake shoes for railway freight cars received certification from the authoritative conformity assessment system for railway products, the China Railway Test & Certification Center Limited (CRCC) (small-batch trial), which marks a zero breakthrough for CHN Energy in obtaining CRCC certification for key locomotive components. As a professional institution with third-party impartiality, CRCC specializes in the certification of railway products, urban rail transit equipment, management systems, testing, inspection, and calibration services.

This certification follows the project’s previous approval of the Railway Product Certificate, issued by a third-party certification agency authorized by the National Certification and Accreditation Administration (CNCA). With this latest recognition, the project has also gained vehicle loading test qualification from China Railway, greatly enhancing the Company’s core competitiveness in brake shoe manufacturing.
